Last week, I shared Sneha’s journey from QA to full stack development, and the response was incredible. Many of you said it helped you see that career switches are not just possible they’re doable with the right support.
So today, I want to share another inspiring story. This one comes from Aman, a learner who had almost no frontend development background when he joined the Full Stack Web Development Job Bootcamp by Coding Ninjas.
His journey is a great example of what happens when curiosity meets the right structure.
A New Start with a Clear Goal
Aman was working in logistics operations before he decided to shift to tech. He had some college-level exposure to HTML but never really built anything beyond static pages. But deep inside, he always wanted to understand how the web worked and how real products were made.
He told me that watching a few YouTube tutorials wasn’t cutting it. “I didn’t know what to do next, what to build, or even if I was learning the right way,” he said.
That’s when he discovered the Coding Ninjas Full Stack Job Bootcamp. What caught his attention was the focus on hands-on projects and real job preparation.
Learning by Doing
The bootcamp started slow and steady, covering the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For Aman, these early weeks were all about unlearning bad habits and building real understanding.
But once React entered the picture, things really took off. He loved how the framework allowed him to build dynamic interfaces and manage user interactions smoothly.
Aman’s favorite part? Building a music streaming app clone as a capstone project. It was the first time he had created something from scratch — with proper routing, state management, and a clean UI. It felt real, and more importantly, it gave him the confidence to show off his work to recruiters.
Mentorship and Mock Interviews
Another thing Aman mentioned was the mentorship.
He had weekly 1-on-1 calls with industry experts who gave him specific feedback. Whether it was how he structured his APIs or how he wrote his resume, every session pushed him to improve in ways that self-study never could.
The mock interviews helped him get used to technical conversations and real-time coding challenges. By the time his actual interviews came, he was not just prepared — he was ready.
Getting the Offer
Eventually, Aman landed an offer from a product-based startup. The interviewers were impressed with his portfolio and his ability to talk through the logic behind his projects.
“They didn’t just ask about syntax. They asked about how I approached problems, how I handled state, and how I thought about scalability,” he said.
And thanks to the job bootcamp, Aman had already worked on these things. He didn’t have to pretend — he had the projects and the confidence to back it up.
Why Aman’s Story Matters
Aman didn’t come from a tech background. He didn’t have perfect grades or fancy degrees. But what he had was consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to start over.
If you’re someone who is starting from scratch or switching fields, know that the journey is possible. With the right guidance and effort, you can become a full stack developer just like Aman.
I’m continuing to collect and share stories from learners across the Coding Ninjas community. If you have completed or are currently going through a job bootcamp and want to share your experience, feel free to message me.
Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear right now.
